If Carlsberg did Traditional Music Venues Tig Coili would no doubt be one of them. A publican once said to me only judge a bar by how hard the staff behind the counter are working and boy do the staff here work hard. They produce one of the best pints of Guinness in Galway and have impromptu trad sessions along with their daily sessions. Aonghus, Coili and the team are like a friendly well oiled machine and the location is perfectly situated in the heart of The Latin Quarter. There’s also outdoor seating to the front and rear of the pub where you can watch the world go by.
