Overcoming addiction and homelessness is hard, but thats what I’m trying to do. One day at a time.
I would be categorized as a ‘Chronic Alcoholic’ and titled to some as ‘Entrenched in homelessness’ Luckily for me I have been blessed by the services of Galway Simon and Cope Galway. I write this article in the small room I was gifted for now. I’m one of the lucky ones who doesnt have to present to the Day Centre everyday.
Today I can see light, something that is rare to me and even quite uncomfortable to feel. Thanks to Housing First I’ll be housed soon and with the help of Galway City Partnership I’ll be launching my own business MGMT.ie
Its been a damn tough few years, but both I and Galway Uncovered are looking forward to a super 2023 full of positive energy. Check back soon to be impressed!
