The Blue Note is a bit of an institution in Galway, they even managed to get their disco ball sponsored. Located in the heart of Galway’s Westend since 1994 they offer a great selection of craft brews available inhouse and to takeaway too. They offer a great selection of guest beers from some of Ireland’s top breweries and offer intriguing whiskey too. There is a hatch welcoming take away for the past few years.
Inside you will find a dancefloor obviously…they play host to Galway’s most creative and passionate DJs. There is a very nice beer garden for the smokers to the rear but what sets this place apart is it’s staff and musicians. I’m yet to hear of someone having a bad night in The Blue Note and long may that continue!
